We are an alumni network of almost 40,000 who support each other by opening doors, making introductions, mentoring, and providing career advice. Thank you for your willingness to share your expertise and experience with other UW-Green Bay alumni!

Alumni who seek career advice complete a separate survey on their desired professional field, preferred positions/titles, sought after places of employment and career goals. They are then matched up with a more established alumnus, like you, who completed this survey and is in a similar professional field.

You will be contacted by the Alumni Relations Office within a week of survey completion to confirm your willingness to provide career guidance to fellow alumni. We will immediately work to pair you with an alumni mentee. Thank you.

Provide feedback on alumni mentee's resume and cover letter
Provide interviewing guidance (i.e. assist mentee prepare for interviews, discuss questions to be asked during the interview process, provide negotiation suggestions, etc.)
Allow alumni mentee to job shadow with you as needed
Open doors for alumni mentee by sharing his/her name with your employer (employer name)
Introduce alumni mentor to others in your field or at your place of employment. Introductions can be made in person, via email, phone or whatever other methods work best for you.
Assist alumni mentee in how to go about asking for and negotiating a promotion at his/her current employer.
Provide career advice and guidance for alumni mentee looking to make a major career change (i.e. same field, different employer or different field, different employer).
