Please use this form to submit a request to have CATL staff assist you in updating the Kaltura videos embedded in your course. Upon receiving your submission, CATL staff will make a best-effort attempt to identify the player and embed types used in your course and use Find and Replace to update the players on your behalf. Because upgrading players is not urgent and we expect many requests, please allow 2-3 weeks for completion.

Most instructors will be able to self-serve and update all the embedded Kaltura players in a course in as little as 5 minutes by following the steps demonstrated in this video guide or text guide and using the find and replace codes provided for upgrading "Standard Player LTI Embeds." If you have not yet tried this in your course(s), please do so before completing this form. If you already tried to update the players yourself and did not have success, please continue.

Which choice best describes the procedure you typically use to embed your Kaltura videos in Canvas?

I select the My Media button in the Canvas Rich Content Editor while editing a page.
I copy the embed code from my video's "share" tab or menu and then paste it into Canvas.
I regularly use both of the above methods.

While embedding videos, do you ever select a player type other than the default "Basic" player?

Yes, I choose other players.
