Rising Phoenix is an innovative early college program designed to help students accelerate their college education during their junior and senior years of high school. By combining dual enrollment opportunities available at their high school with online classes or courses at one of UW-Green Bay’s campuses, students can simultaneously fulfill high school diploma requirements and work towards earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree.

The Independent Pathway:

• Is for students who want to join the Rising Phoenix Program but attend a non-partner high school.
• Allows districts to recommend individual students without committing to a full cohort.
• Students can utilize the 18 credits covered by their district through the Early College Credit Program.
• UWGB will help students and school districts identify cost estimates and possible funding for the remaining 42 credits to earn their associate degree.
